Eiji was born and raised in Japan, and moved to Canada for the fishing when he was 24 years old. Taught to fish at a young age by his grandfather, from the first moment he picked up a fishing rod, a life long passion for fishing began. So with that passion he decided to move to where more and bigger fish are, and that was Quadra Island and Campbell River Canada. Eiji has been a professional saltwater fishing guide in the Campbell River area for over 25 years. He is the only Japanese speaking salmon fishing guide and charter operator on Vancouver Island. Of course he speaks English fluently, so if you have Japanese clients or guests from Japan he would be the best choice for your fishing trip!
